Local in Source, Texan in Spirit

Local in source, Texan in spirit, not only in the kitchen, but in the community, is what Jack Allen’s Kitchen is all about. Since 2009, our restaurant has been bringing Southern-inspired flavors infused with the spice of Southwestern cuisine to four locations in the Austin area (Oak Hill, 360 and Anderson Ln in Austin and in Round Rock). Chef and owner Jack Allen Gilmore’s dedication to local farmers and purveyors yields us the best from each season. Texas’ rich history and abundant local bounty serves as our daily inspiration, and it is our great honor to bring that directly to your table.

Pull up a Chair

Modeled for comfort and fun, you are encouraged to kick back and stay awhile. Our crew is chosen for their culinary knowledge and hospitable nature, here to ensure your experience at Jack Allen’s Kitchen is a memorable one.

Part of the Community

Cultivating a healthy community through charity and comforting food is our mantra and part of our culture. Our team could not do what we do without the help of our local farmers, brewers, ranchers and more. Whenever there is an opportunity to give back, big or small, our team is there to help those in need and pay homage to the folks that make Texas so damn tasty.
